442GOALS

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 September 2026

442 Goals is published by Loyalty Apps Ltd. This policy covers the iOS and Android apps.

The short version

There are no accounts, no sign-in and no analytics. Your finished runs go to our leaderboards under a random identifier for your installation and, if you choose one, a leaderboard name. We never ask for your real name, email or phone number. The app also shows ads, and those ads involve Google. This page explains exactly what that means.

What stays on your device

Your statistics, your formation progress and your settings are stored on your device only, using your operating system's standard app storage. Delete the app and they are gone.

Leaderboards

When you finish a run, the app sends it to our leaderboard server so it can be ranked. We receive:

Your leaderboard name, number and scores are shown publicly to other players. We use this data only to run the leaderboards, keep them fair (for example, limiting how many runs one installation can send) and deal with reported names. We do not sell it, use it for advertising or share it with anyone else.

The leaderboards are stored with Supabase, our hosting provider, in the European Union (Ireland). Like any web service, their servers briefly handle your IP address to deliver the request; we do not store it.

To delete everything we hold about you, open Settings → Delete my leaderboard data in the app. That removes your name, your number and every run you have sent, immediately and permanently. Otherwise we keep leaderboard data for as long as the leaderboards run.

Advertising

Ads are served by Google AdMob. To deliver and measure an ad, Google receives a device advertising identifier, your approximate location derived from your IP address, and basic information about your device and the ad you were shown. This is used to serve the ad, to cap how often you see it, to measure it, and to detect fraud.

The ads we request are non-personalised, which means they are chosen from general context rather than from a profile of you. We do not use Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework, we never ask permission to track you, and we do not read the iOS advertising identifier (IDFA). We do not build a profile of you, and we do not combine ad data with anything else.

Google's own handling of this data is described in Google's privacy policy and in how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Your choices about ads

If you are in the UK, the EEA or Switzerland, you are asked for your consent before any ad loads, and you can refuse. You can change your answer at any time from Settings → Privacy options in the app.

If you are in a US state with an applicable privacy law, you are shown your opt-out choices in the same way.

You can reset or clear your advertising identifier at any time in your device settings — on iOS under Privacy & Security, on Android under Ads.

Buying 442 Goals Premium removes ads completely. Once premium is active the app makes no ad requests at all, so nothing is sent to Google for advertising.

Purchases

442 Goals Premium is a one-off purchase. It is handled by Apple or Google, who process the payment; we never see your card, your billing address or any payment detail.

We use RevenueCat to check whether a purchase is active. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated identifier for your installation and the purchase receipt from the store. That identifier is not linked to your name, your email or any account, because there are no accounts. RevenueCat's handling is described in their privacy policy.

Updates

The app checks with Expo's update service for corrections to the player statistics. That check sends only the app version and platform needed to serve the right update. It contains nothing about you or your play.

Children

442 Goals is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Ads are limited to a general audience content rating, and we do not enable child-directed advertising features. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will act on it.

Keeping or deleting data

Removing the app removes everything it stored on your device. Leaderboard data is deleted from Settings → Delete my leaderboard data, as described above; uninstalling alone does not remove it, so do that first, or contact us and we will delete it for you. For data held by Google or RevenueCat, use the links in those sections, or contact us and we will help.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and any material change will appear in the app before it takes effect.
