Seven teammates.
Two moles.
Trust no one.

The locker-room game, now in your pocket. Each night the moles take a teammate out of the match. Each day the squad argues it out and votes someone off with a red card. Send off both moles and the squad wins — guess wrong and the moles even the numbers.

Ninety minutes, three beats

Mafia, re-kitted as a football squad.

If you've played Mafia, Werewolf or Traitors, you already know it. If you haven't, one match teaches you.

01

Night

Lights out. The two moles quietly agree on a teammate to take out of the match — usually whoever got loudest during the day.

02

Day

The squad wakes up a player down and starts talking. Accuse, defend, deflect — or press a teammate and watch how they answer.

03

The vote

Someone gets a red card and walks. The match notebook keeps every accusation and every vote on record, so nobody rewrites history.

Two ways to play

On your own, or with the whole room.

SOLO

You vs the dressing room

  • Six AI squadmates who accuse, bluff, defend and vote with minds of their own
  • Table talk written fresh every match — no canned script to memorise
  • You might be loyal, you might be the captain with a secret check each night — or you might be a mole
  • Loses signal? The match keeps going, offline, without missing a beat
PARTY

One phone, 5–10 mates

  • Pass-and-play for a real room — no second device, no app for everyone else
  • The app deals every secret role: press and hold to peek, hand it on
  • It narrates the night and referees the vote, so nobody has to host
  • Pub table, coach trip, away day, half-time
What's in the box

Built to be picked up in a minute.

Matches in 5–10 minutes

Short enough for a queue, a train, or between rounds.

The match notebook

Every accusation and every vote, on the record and re-readable.

Moles that play to win

They target the people closing in on them — quiet play is its own tell.

Free, honestly free

No ads, no purchases, no subscription, no paywalled squad slots.

No account, no data

Nothing to sign up for. Nothing about you is collected or sold.

Plays on a plane

Party mode is fully offline; Solo falls back to offline chatter.

Questions

Before you kick off.

Do I need to know football to play?

Not at all. The football is the costume — kit numbers, red cards, a locker room. The game underneath is Mafia, and one match is enough to learn it.

Do my friends need the app for party mode?

No. Party mode is pass-and-play on a single phone. One person installs it, everyone else just takes the phone when it comes round.

Is it really free?

Yes — no ads, no in-app purchases, no subscription. The whole game is in the download.

What data do you collect?

None. There's no account, no tracking and no analytics. Solo mode sends the fictional match state — in-game squad names and recent events, nothing about you — to our server so the AI squadmates can talk. Full details are in the privacy policy.

Is this an official football game?

No. Mole United is an unofficial fan game with no real clubs, crests, kits, competitions or player likenesses — generic colours and numbers only.
